2.2.8. ABC Vent MagiCAD Selection Tool
With the ABC Vent MagiCAD Selection Tool the user can select ABC Vent ventilation products for the project. There are three types of main categories of the products:
1. Grilles
2. Roof cowls with roof ducts
3. Wall covers
Grille product is a ventilation louvre for intake or exhaust air systems. The product is intended to be used in the building exterior wall.
Roof cowl product is a ventilation roof cowl for intake and/or exhaust air systems. It can contain single or multiple connectors for ducts. The product can also include an optional roof duct component which is insulated part in building roof space. Roof duct is part of product package during the installation if it’s included in product selection. The product is intended to be used in the building roof top.
Wall cover is a ventilation roof cowl for intake and/or exhaust air systems. The product is intended to be used in the building exterior wall.
NOTICE: When the MagiCAD Selection Tool is used directly with the web browser, the product cannot be inserted to the BIM project!
