2.2.6.2. Copy to Clipboard

 
 
The Copy to clipboard command copies the product specification details to the workstation's clipboard. The data is stored to the product during the insert operation. It is based on the data in the selection product specification detail's data.
 
 
Revit
When the button is clicked, the selection tool asks user to select the product from which to copy the details.
 
After the selection has been done, the user is informed that details have been copied to the clipboard. The user accepts this with the OK button. After that the user can paste the specification details to some other document.
 
Specification details example:
Channel model 670EK 2000x300x90mm, horizontal 110mm centre outlet, for Concrete, Tile. Flow rate < 2,0 ltr/sec. The Channel is made from 2 mm acid-pickled stainless steel AISI 304 / EN 1.4301, the longitudinal fall is 1% and the cross fall corresponds to 160°-170°. Designed in accordance with EN1253.
