Insert Product in AutoCAD

 

Before inserting the Blücher products into MagiCAD for AutoCAD, make sure that you have the MagiCAD Ventilation & Piping (MagiCAD V&P) project is connected to the drawing in AutoCAD.

The Blücher selection tool can be found from the MagiCAD Connect tab in the AutoCAD ribbon panel.

 

When the product is exported to MagiCAD for AutoCAD the “Add product to project” dialog will be shown to the user. The user fills the necessary information in the dialog and continues with the OK button. TheuUser may cancel the product addition with the Cancel button.

 

Next the Domestic Water and Drainage Device Selection dialog will be shown to the user. The user accepts the selected product installation with the OK button.

 

Next the user selects the product position in the drawing. The user can also change the product direction, options or rotate the product.

 

After the product's position has ben selected in  MagiCAD for AutoCAD, the install product dialog is opened where the user selects for example the drainage system and the installation level for the product.

 

The user may install multiple product instances to the drawing. Installation is ended with the ESC key.

After the product is installed to the drawing, the user connects the unit to the drainage network.
