2.2.10.1. Insert Product

 
Insert Product command opens Furhoffs MagiCAD Selection Tool which helps user to select the right Furhoffs floor drain product and insert it to MagiCAD or Revit.
 
 
When the Insert Product button is pressed the Furhoffs MagiCAD Selection Tool is opened into MagiCAD Connect application.
 
 
The product category selection and the product search are available at the top of the page. The available products can be filtered with these options. All the units matching the selected filters are presented on the left, in the “Select product” -section. By clicking these options, the selected unit that is presented on the right in the “Configure product” -section, is changed. Inside the “Configure product” -section, there are configuration and customization options displayed according to the available configurations for the selected unit. The product model information (image, 3d Model, dimensions) and properties are shown to the right of the configuration options.

Different configuration options are available depending on the selected unit. These include floor types and outlet types, and different sizing options. Some units have multiple standard sizes, and some units include the possibility for customized sizes.

In the product view, there are multiple view options: Image, 3D, and dimensions. In 3D view it’s possible to rotate, zoom and move the 3D model. In dimensions view, there are multiple viewpoints available.

The product can be inserted to MagiCAD or Revit using the “Insert” button, or downloaded as a DXF file using the DXF button.
